Should I be concerned??

OK, so yesterday I was changing my aquarium light bulb yesterday and a screw or something rusty fell into my tank. I got it out and I'm just wondering if I should be concerned or what? Everything is same as always in my tank.

i would closely examine your light fixture to make sure it doesnt have any problems.

Just out of curiosity, what would have happened if I hadn't gotten it out??

He said that just to make sure your light doesnt fall into the tank or anything like that, since you did find a loose screw.

If you hadn't gotten the screw out it may have leaked some rust into the water which doesn't sound like a great idea to me. Could've hurt some fish especially neons who I consider sensitive fish.

OK I just wasn't sure. Sorry bmoraski! Just didn't get what ya meant there .
Well It was only a screw TOP, not the pointy bottom part... I will check my lights, though.
