Mystery Albino Cichlid - Please ID

Hello Everyone,

I have an online friend who has asked me to help him to identify one of his recent purchases, or more appropriately said, a "mystery fish" which was recently bought by his wife, along with three other fish. I suggested to him that it looks like an albino Labidochromis Caeruleus, if such a fish exists.

I would second the Pseudotropheus socolofi Albino you mentioned at the end on your web page.

That shape of the body is that of socolofi. I was told my albino was a Pseudotropheus(Red) albino zebra but mine looks more like a Socolofi now that I see that fish.

Hello again Matt. Thanks for your input. Well, that is two votes for an albino Pseudotropheus Socolofi, and votes are still coming in. Let's wait until we have a consensus on this.

Yeah....I guess probably a socolofi. Beak looks quite a lot more prominent than I'm used to seeing though.

SK -- yikes, that name makes me shudder! -- if you are doubtful that it is an albino Pseudotropheus Socolofi, do you have any other ideas?

Probably a socolofi. If it's older, it may explain the pronounced beak.
