I have a 10g tank (young. been running for about 3 months) and my bronze cories have always done great and are very active. now i just noticed one is shrinking... hes half the girth as he was 2 weeks ago and his fins are slowly disappearing even his eye seem to bulge out a bit. the only thing that has changed is a new light and i got omega one flake. i tested the water with tetra 5 in 1 test strips NO3 10PPM, NO2 0PPM, GH 200-250PPM KH 100PPM pH AROUND 6.8-7.2.
I REALLY LIKE THE CORIES AND DONT WANNA LOOSE THEM

I don't see anything wrong from the pictures. Is there an ammonia reading on your test strip? Test strips are generally not as reliable as drop tests with liquid. If you don't have an ammonia test, take a sample of your water to the fish store ASAP and write down the results they give you. In the meantime, a large water change and boost of temperature would probably help. Tank should be about 78 degrees. What else are you keeping in this tank?

ill get a drop tester but my other cory is good and i also have 2red wag platy 1neon swordtail 1 black molly 1 young albino rainbow shark(smallest in the tank) and they are all good aswell. sorry my pictures are crap its a cell phone. just picture a healthy cory (thick and energetic) and mines the exact opposite. i do a 20-40% water change every week and i just did it yesterday but should i raise my temp more then 27.2 C (80.2F) cuz thats where its at now

No, your tank is a little warm. Lower it to 78F. Your tank is pretty crowded, that could be the problem. A 10g is too small for swordtails, mollies and rainbow sharks. It could be an overcrowding issue combined with the ammonia issue. You'll have to do a water test to be sure.

It has a fancy bottle, I'm still baffled by all the hoopla with this Prime water conditioner, does it shoot out sparkles as you add it to your water or something? Water conditioner is water conditioner, many claim to "help slime coating" or "help fish adjust to water", well, that's what conditioning your water does in the first place, takes chlorine and chloramines out of the water so the fish can HAVE slime coatings and adjust to being in the water? Otherwise the chlorine would harm the fish? Don't get it...

hoopla

*laugh*

Prime claims to do a lot of things other water conditioners dont. Maybe people get attracted by that: maybe because it has the power of ammo-lock; maybe cuz it also makes Nitrite nontoxic. all of those sound good to me.

hey i got my API master test kit liquid test (this is after 5 days of 40-50% water changes) and the results are *drum roll* 0ppm ammonia 0ppm nitrite 0-2ppm nitrate(i didnt feel the color completely matched the 0 color) and 7.5 Ph. i wont do a water change till next week but ill test again before i do and see how fast the results build up in my crowded tank...
P.S. cory is good

Prime removes chlorine, chloramine, and heavy metals, binds ammonia (non-toxic to fish, does not interfer with nitrogen cycle), and binds nitrite (non-toxic to fish, does not interfer with nitrogen cycle).

Plus it's cheap per dose (2 drops per gallon).

That's the 'hoopla.'

:(so i left my water for 4 days and checked it and the ammonia got to 0.25ppm and i did a huge water change but then my other cory died today so i returned my young albino shark in hopes to lower the bio load in the tank
