Hey, if anyone can help me indentify some african cichlids I just got with a new set-up please let me know. Also if anyone knows of any other sites that can help with identifying african cichlids I would really appreciate it.
Thanks
Thanks man, I've just signed up with Home - World Cichlids so I'll see what they can tell me. I really didn't think it would be this hard to get them identified.. lovin em though.
If this link works its directly to the section of that forum I posted above. http://www.cichlid-forum.com/phpBB/viewforum.php?f=14 Just take some pictures and post. Most people don't have pictures and get links off the internet. But yeah they got tons of stuff in the library.. and with so many "small' things on a fish that tells what it truly is.. can be really hard to finding its identity. Gl with searching.. and I also checked out your link as well. Pretty cool thing(never been to it before).

LoL Just post in the hello forum 5 times. I forgot they got limit! Been years that I registered there!
Also the link they posted about your fish and questions. Are they all the ones you have? Or are you taking pictures of someones fish/or getting them offline? Cause I was just saying its better to get your fish pictures instead of fish that look like them. Because sometimes your fish can look like something very easily and also they can be mix breaded as well.

Hey Monoxide, thx for your constant input. I just posted random comments and questions lol
The pictures I have posted are of my fish, not of a similar looking one etc. I only have 3 to post of the big yellow dude but I can easily take more if need be. I've got them posted on 5 forums now... fingers crossed. From early responses it looks like I've got a few hybrids aswell which is going to make identifying them all that much harder... woohooo..
