What are these???

I have two of these "things" along the top of my tank. They are located just above the water line. I think they are snail eggs but i have absolutely no clue, just a wild guess. Anyone kn ow what they are?

Apple snail eggs woud be my guess.

look like snail eggs to me. if u do not want them u can just scrape them off. or u can let them hatch.

you must have some sort of apple snails in your tank like Orange said

I do have two snails. My LFS had them labeled as mystery snails. i think i may let one "clump" of eggs hatch but i have found three more batches just above the water line.

well u can remove the eggs and not worry about them or let them hatch and be over run by snails lol. or u can buy some fish that will eat snails.

Females often will lay eggs that are infertile. They also can store the male's sperm for months and lay fertile eggs with no male present.

If you have a spare tank I would let them hatch and grow them out. I used to get 25 cents each from local petstores for gold apple snails.

Whenever the stores didnt want any my oscars loved the snack!

Thats an awesome idea! 25 cents a snail, whith apple snails, you must have walked out of there with a nice chunk of change sometimes!

Most stores would only take around 60 snails a month from me. But the $15 I made at one store would buy enough algae wafers to feed all the baby snails for a month.
