ok so one more post lol. sorry if im annoying. in my thirty five gal tank i have a clarkii and acellaris clown, three chromis and hopefully a mandarin. ive had them together for almost a week now and the fighting is non existent! im amazed. but im gonna buy an bubble tip anemone and i want both of em to hve one so they dnt compete for it. so ive seen on threads that u can frag anemones. i was planning on trying that and hoping it would work...any comments, ideas, experience. anything will help!

I don't think you can frag this type of an anemone. I also don't think its a good idea to have two differant types of clown fish in such a small tank. jmo

A 35G tank is a bit too small IMO for 1 BTA let alone 2! You plan to have other corals aswell right? well the anem is going to sting anything within its reach. Anems get to be larger than a dinner plate. Now imagine 2 dinner plates in your 35g tank! another thing is they need prestine water quality which is harder to keep stable in a smaller tank... I take it you have a good protien skimmer to help with the water quality?

yeah i no. but they said 30 galllons so i thought it would be ok. so im gonna do a whole reef but only one anemone and eventually when it gets to big i will try to frag it and sell the one half or quarter to the fish store and then keep a piece to start it again :) but im gonna put frogspawn in and hopefully one of my clowns will host that

My rose bubbletip usually splits by itself about once or twice a year... its nice cause it usually means either $40-50 or a nice trade... last time it split I had both in the tank for about a month but that was all I could take since one of them was constinly on the move stinging everything in the tank . I ended up trading it for about $50 worth of frags
