Does my tank have parasites?

I re adjusted my airstone today and sturred my substrate in my 10 gallon and these little less than needle thin about 2 inch long white wormy looking things where moving in there, ive not noticed any health concerns on my fish, what are they and where did they come from and will they hurt my fish?

I figured out i have Planaria, nothing to serious, im going to try to clean my gravel and feed less to the fish to stop these Parasites from getting any worse

Its nothing serious, so the internet states, so im just gonna put them in my 5 gallon bucket for like 20 minutes witht he airstone and boil the gravel and then re do it

Planaria are very common when you over-feed your fish, I guess they get in on plants and with new additions. You're right, they're nothing to worry about but I would NOT boil the gravel, you could end up creating a mini cycle because a lot of beneficial bacteria lives in the gravel. Simply minimise feeding, stir up the gravel once in a while (your fish will appreciate the snack if you're feeding less) and vac the gravel more often.

I think Goldiegupp's sig means he/she has ONE 2" oranda, ONE 3" fantail and ONE 2" black moor (or whatever the sizes were). However, I'd have to agree that that tank is way overstocked.

Pssst...it took me a couple times seeing it to get it. I looked at the pic in the sig and avatar and figured that was one of the fish listed in his/her signature, and that fish does not look anywhere near 12".
