For all of you who said African Dwarf Frogs get along with betta's id like to share this video, i myself thought ADF's and Bettas would be great together...until i saw this heart wrenching video, please if your faint of heart about seeing another fish get eaten DO NOT WATCH THIS as it is a video of an ADF eating A male betta fish :(

That's not an African Dwarf Frog. That's an African Clawed Frog. They get big[size of a dinner plate] and there is also an albino version:

[yes, that was my ACF]

I could only watch a few seconds of that video since I hate when people film animals being eaten by others, but yeah. An ADF might try to eat a betta, but be unsuccessful since they don't get that big. They go by smell since they are close to being blind. Bettas are more likely to sucessfully eat ADF's vs. the other way around.

I see ACFs all the time in Pennsylvania. ACFs are usually albino and ADFs have webbing in between their front toes.
I sort of wish it was illegal here. I'm sure a lot of people think, "Oh, what a cute little froggy!" and buy them without the faintest idea that they will grow the size of an adult's fist and eat everything in sight.

The albino ACF's are just as common as the pigmented ACF's, littletank. :)

I wish people really knew more about them and their care...they are a lot of fun if cared for properly. No...instead people choose to let them loose in the wild[because they couldn't bother to learn how to care for them when they got to be big] and kill the fun for the people who actually like them. :(

The only states its illegal in is Arizona, California, Florida, Kentucky, Louisiana, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oregon, and Virginia so if your in any of those states then oops LOL
That would make sense. Ever since the wildlife and game agency got burnt by snakeheads they've been pretty restrictive about what you can and can't have.

This isn't meant to sound mean or anything Fishman, you said, "for everyone who said bettas and ADFs get along here is a video" just know that it wasn't a fact people were telling you, it was more like experience.

Like I've never had a frog get stuck to a filter and die -- others have. I've never had shrimp get sucked up in a filter -- others have.

I've learned on this forum that it is experience usually. I've been told plenty of things that don't work with my tank on this forum and online, that work for others. So definitely take things with a grain of salt hun~ [which I'm sure you already know] :)

You'd be fine with An African Dwarf Frog but NEVER get an African Clawed Frog. With your tanks the mollys wouldnt bother the frogs and neither would the glofish, but be aware you must feed them live foods such as Bloodworms
Could I get away with turning my porch light on at night, bagging a bunch of bugs and tossing them in the tank? :D
