I had a lone julii cory in my tank for the last few weeks. I was waiting to find some more juliis, but finally purchased a couple melini cats instead. My julii went beserk. He immediately grazed one of the melini's body all over with his barbels, and started fluttering and dancing around him, following him all over the tank as the new guy explored. Even now, the little julii is huddled beside one of the big melinis, quivering like an excited kitten. Makes me feel terrible if the little cory has been that lonely all this time . . . .

Sniffle, sniffle. I've had a similar experience. I had 3 otos in my tank for a while, then I added 3 peppered corys, and the otos would swim all over the place with them. This only lasted about a week for me, but your not alone :)

I don't mean to anthropomorphize too much, but it is kinda the sweetest thing ever. Julii is all like: "omigod. omigodomigodomigod youre one of me. omigod omigod. i cant breathe. i cant use capitals. im gonna pass out. omigod."
