Okay, not really snakes.
Kuhli loaches.
Black ones.
Four.
They're chillin' in my quarantine tank now.
I think.
I'm pretty sure they all decided to squeeze under the foam filter.
I'm tempted to add decorations.
But they're only going to be there a week or two.
From there I'm taking them to work.
The guy next to me got all excited when he saw my tank.
He wanted me to get snakes.
This is the closest I could get away with in a 10 gal.
Why did it have to be snakes!
(No pics. They're totally standard looking)

So after about half a week with these little buggers......DAYUM!

I have yet to see them eat, but they still have the same level of energy as the day I got them. I feel fortunate that only one has leaped out of the QT tank so far. (Which I promptly scooped back up) Holy bajeesus, LID IS REQUIRED! They don't seem to be into Frozen Blood Worms, Tetra Flakes, Shrimp Pellets, or Hikari Micro-Wafers. I hear they're low bioload, are they just not big eaters? I'm guessing they nibble at least, but nothing major. They don't even appear to put a dent in the small amount of food provided.
