.z1.jpg 55g.jpg Man it has been over a year since I've been on here. A long time ago I had to sell all my hard work. Looks like there are still a few people here I know.

Well guess what I'm back and getting back in the scene. Next friday I'm snatching up a 30g w/ stand and a few extras.

Plan is to set it up as planted but quite open. This tank I'm going to build for contest purposes. Once all things are bought, going to get it setup to run C02 and have a carpet w/ some rock sculptures and MAYBE a few other plants. Sometimes less is more. This tank I'm gonna house Neon Tetra's, Oto's, & Red Cherry Shrimp.

After this one is all setup then I wanna do a 40g+ Cichlid tank. Not sure which lake I will choose from but it will definitely be a African Cichlid tank.

Great to be back and seeing you guys on a lot more frequent basis.

To everyone else that hasn't ever met me, I am FULL OF INFO.

Here's some pics of my 2 old tanks where I left off....

Thanks buddy =) This will ALWAYS be my first, main, and pretty much only fish forum website i'll ever get on. Can't wait to get this tank up and running. I think I'm going to make it a slow process on this tank because most is going to be selecting aquascape to do, then plants and layout. Fish for this new tank are going to be simple with Neon Tetra's, Otocinulous, and Red Cherry Shrimp

I made my 75G an African tank and really enjoy it.
If I ever do a 50g or larger again, it will definitely be a cichlid tank. I also would love to do African's but I don't know which lake I would choose from as there are species from every lake which I really enjoy and would love to keep. I know sometimes you can get away with mixing them but I would want it a lake specific tank and try and replicate their environment. I have quite a few ideas if I had the money. But dont we all.

I went Malawi. I felt there was a little more selection this way since the fish are easier to acquire then the other lakes (in my area anyway). I like the Mbuna type. The prices on these in my area are about $6.00 to $13.00 each, so I went this route.
I also like the mbuna species. Lake Malawi would probably be the one lake that I would consider the most. I love the variety there is.
