Whats compatiable with these fish.

My realitve has a very bare tank and i wanted to know what she could put in her tank because its bare. She has a tank between 40-55g (we dont know the actual amount) it has know hood so no jumpy fish. The tanks stock is 1 Gold Gourami, red tailed shark, and some kind of pleco it was marked as a commoin, but its not that big. I think its a high fin pleco . any suggestions would help

Hmmm, that's a good question. With those guys, you need bigger fish that are not too aggressive, but will be able to hold their own. A school of full-grown barbs maybe? I saw gorgeous "red velvet"barbs for the first time today. Basic black barbs with a red sheen to them. Maybe hunt down a female gold gourami? I saw a bunch of cool fish at the lcd today, but for the life of me can't think of what they were...

I no i could do that but since the only time i see it is when im over and i dont want to look weird measuring a her fish tank in the middle of the living room lol

What would look weird about measuring an aquarium - I think we have all done it at some time or other. We all need to know where its going to fit, or if it has been labeled right and also so we can guesstimate what it will weigh.
