hi,

I'm just curious if I can use a 100 watt heater for my 50L tank?

Any response would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you*BOUNCINGS

Maybe its just because its too early in the morning for me but wouldn't 4-5 watts per gallon be 250 watts for a 50 gallon. A 100 watt would only be 2 watts per gallon in a 50 gallon tank.

Thank you both for your quick reply. I only have a 50L tank (13 gallons) to start with, and a 100W heater. I'm just curious if this would be fine or I need to get this back and change it to 50W? thanks again! *SUNSMILE*

Brain FART!!!!! Not sure what I was thinking. I am normally about 2 watts per gallon. Maybe the liter conversion through me, either way I was off.
