I know I am not Capslock but that is your tank cycling. The cloudyness is a bacteria bloom that is part of the process. Keep a sharp eye on ammonia and nitrite and if it were me I would do daily water changes. I just recently went through a mini cycle in one of my tanks and daily water changes have been essential. Couldn't tell you about the java moss.

Plants help a little by using some of the nitrogen in a tank, yes, but will not take the place of water changes. Some people who have heavily planted and lightly stocked tanks find they do not need to do water changes as frequently, but the only way to know is by testing the water.
