I've had Picard for around two years and when i bought him/her the pet store told me it was a bristle-nose. Picard has never grown bristles and i was wondering, is it just a female? or is it a different species? Any information would be appreciated :) 923527_10152754993825570_1150661541_n.jpg

There are so many different kinds of plecos. Yours looks like it might be a clown pleco. You can find info on this type of pleco here: Clown Pleco This type of pleco doesn't have bristles, so yours won't have any bristles. Bristles will grow on a bristle nose pleco when it reaches a certain size. They don't have them right away. Hope this helps you out :)
