A betta would appreciate being liberated from its dirty cup to a nice clean 1 gal. of froggys. I used to have a beta in a 10 gal. and it wasnt known for swimming about all that often. A 1 gal. is fine for the beta.

What about an African Dwarf Frog? I had one living in a 1 gallon tank for over 6 months before he got a bigger home, and it worked out well. I had one lil live plant (a crypt i think) and a couple rocks for him. Changed the wter every couple of days, worked out great.

I was thinking about a frog also...mine doesn't move around all that much, and I have him in a two gallon with a betta for the time being, and it is working wonderfully. Also, how bout not really using it for fish, and growing some earthworms or something, you could feed them to your fish depending on what you have...or grow some and stick them in the garden when they are big enough....how bout an antfarm? well, those are probably not the kind of answer you're looking for, but hey, I had to try, right? ;)

LOL Leopardess :) NOOO ant farms

Maybe a frog...

Maybe I will look into some kind of live food hatchery...like someone mentioned earlier brine shrimp or something. I wouldn't even know how to go about doing something like that...but I'm sure with enough research I could handle it :) Besides its not finished cycling yet...so I have some time to decide what to do.

Anyone know how to go about starting something...or something good to eat that little fishies like? I mostly have small fish (Harlequin rasboras and Danios...and of course the guppy)

You guys are great :) See? Lots of ideas...
