I can see why you'd wanna keep a lot of open space in a tank that size!

That lighter-colored oscar with the green patches is pretty. It'll be cool to see him/her grow-up. Same with the EBJD. And of course I'm sure you'll be getting us some pics of that heavily-armoured raphael cat, right?

Blah, we had to remove him... we put him in figured he'd go right to his cave, but instead he went straight to the filter intake and got stuck. He released himself, but the big boys were too interested in him, nipping at him and such. Then he would NOT find his cave, kept trying to steal my pleco's driftwood/rock cave. She got a little ticked and he didn't seem to mind getting pleco thrashed, because he wasn't moving.... we finally just took him out and put him back in his quarentine tank. He's just too small yet. We'll have to wait untill he gets big enough to at least not get slurped tot he filter intake! LOL

I think a BGK would be fine, expecially if you put him in before the EBJD gets too big, my oscars seemed more curious than anything, Blue scare dme a little, he wanted to see what those white bars on his tail tasted like LOL. But then again, my guy is only about 6" or so... I heard they grow fast, but I've had him for almost 2 months and haven't noticed any growing, albiet having the oscars makes everything seem like it's not growing! LOL

Right now he is the size of a large female betta, so about 1.1 inches.

Going to have to run back to the store and pick up the cichlid gold baby pellets as his mouth is too small to effectively eat the mini pellets.

Nice new avatar, lordroad...although I'm sure it's only temporary, right? If you get sick of the parrot and its offspring, you could always send me some to feed to my salvini. They'd love it, I'm sure.
