here is a video of the mantis, you can see just how small he is when i put my finger up to the glass, he also seems to have no fear of me when im tapping the glass.

Nope, I want him back to nuclear green though, so i might add some macro to the tank, I think he is red because i was fiddling with the different lights i had on the tank.

woohoo! Im gonna be getting a job soon so i will be able to add more corals to this tank and make it interesting. Every thing is doing fine still.

that little guy (girl!) is so cool.. will s/he get big like mantis shrimp i've seen in videos?

Im not sure if its a guy or a girl yet, it being active leads me to it being a male, but i cant spot any genitalia on it. S/he will get to maybe 2 inches, mgith take a year or two though.

I got 2 corals about 1 hour ago, a nice 3 head frag of candy cane, and some nice red and orange zoas.

I might add a small hammer next to fill in the tank. Pics will have to wait since i can't use the camera right now, im trying to id these zoas, red skirt orange surrounded mouth, they are also on a nice flat piece of rock to grow out on, once they grow out they are going in the ten gallon.

Im trying, Tge zoas closed up for some reason, its been a day and they just closed up, Ive also desided to move all corals to the 10 gallon reef. And Im not getting picks because when i come home from football im extremely tired.

I think im gonna be like you and move most of my corals to my 12 gallon once its well established. especially the torch cuz i dont think its fully opening.
