Well,

my brother bought himself a 24g JBJ nanocube deluxe over the weekend and i got him started with some live rock and such so if he gets his act together and e-mails me the pictures he promised i will post them here. i am curious to see how the whole thing goes for him so ill be giving you updates on his nano cube experience for your reference (unless he gets on here and does it himself)

yea. So are you going to do any mods. I have seen skimmer mods and lighting mods of course and maybe a refuge mod in the filter unit. I think its chamber 1 is sponge or chemipure, 2 is lr rubble, and three is a pwrhead for increased return.

thats awsome, now we can actually get a good idea of how the nano cubes function from some close experience.

Is your bro into fish tanks, or is this the first?

The nano cubes look awsome, they look so impressive when fully setup and they seem so self serving.

18in W x 19.5in D x 19.5in T....but there is a 2 in strip along the back wall which you cant see into. it holds water and the pump and a heater; works like an overflow into a sump

looks really good, those night lights are alot cooler than I ever would have though. His rockwork looks very interesting too. Is he planning on corals (or is the lighting not strong enough). Looking good, the soda can really puts it in perspective to its size.

Is the hood going to stay opened for the powercord or is it suppose to be like that, or is it for the cycle?

the hood has a gromet for cords to go in and out which may be full (I haven't seen this tank since he filled it up) but the rear has plenty of space where a notch could be cut for cords so i assume that is not a permanent thing

the lights are good for softies and most LPS and i believe he does plan to keep corals eventually

That is a neat little setup there.

It does look small though and to think its only 5 gallons smaller than my 29, but that looks alot bigger. But either way, a fine little tank. Any stocking plans?

Oh, and was this the brother of yours standing next to that 90 gallon tall in that for sale thread? Just wondering.
