your using the 33g as the sump now? so u going bigger with the display?how bout a 55g which can be yur future sump when u upgrade again :p and u got your bulbs?

phoenix 14k's will be nice since u have de bulbs but if they were se bulbs the reeflux 12k's are the best of the best.... the color will be fine but youll want actinics just to simulate dusk and dawn ;)

Thats a 30gal beside the skimmer....about 16.5" tall is the tank. ;) Thats without all the pipes, pump, and fittings hooked up.

Thanks, i can't wait to hook The Beast up. Its rated at something like 150-180gals and i'll be using it on a 75 i think. Should be cool.

No updates yet guys, still looking for a tank without dropping $200+ at the LFS just for the tank. I'm building my own stand for it.

Trying to find a used 75gal that is NOT reef ready, aka doesn't have holes drilled or overflows yet, so i can drill my own holes (or have them drilled) where i want them.

IME it was a not only a pain finding sum 1 to drill my tank but also a pain building overflows that look exceptable...... from now on its only RR for me ;)

Haha really? I just think i can save at least $70 by DIYing it. Plus the way the overflows are put in RR's hinder the view in the tank the way i want my tank setup in the room. Eyesores. *crazysmil

IMO $70 is worth the headaches i had! plus i also think its the other way around and its an eyesore when u DIY sometimes .... ill post a pic of my overflows i just think RR looks alot cleaner
