5.5 gallon sump

will this be worth it??? im talkin about for my 10 gallon tank wich i plan to upgrade to a 15 gallon in the next week or so

better than none, if you can put some macro algae in it/skimmer/heater why not

I have a 3 to 4 gallon refugium. I have it setup with a DSB and have live rock and marco in it. It also provides a nice coral nursing area when you want to frag a coral and keep it under low flow.

i think it would be better to use your 10 gallon as the sump, but yea, even a small sup is worth it.

yea that would be great... only problem is it wont fit under the stand i got . the stand is exactly the size of the tank but i plan on geting the 15 gallon tall that fits the same stand/light and using the 5.5 gallon under to add about 10 more gallons wich is doubling water volume so it souded like a good idea

yea... but the 5.5 will only be holding about 2.5-3 gallons of water.

thats fine though thats why i want the 15 gallon ....... i guess itll be more of a fuge
