Man, I wish people would get off this overcrowding stuff. Put the fish in there at one time, so they are used to each other. Keep up w/ the maintenence and filter for 150g tank. You will be fine. In my 55g, I have:
1-Tire Track Eel
1-BIG common Pleco
2- Jack Dempsey's (8 & 6 in)
3-Green Terrors ( 2@6 & 4in)
2-Maneguensie ((spelling) 6in each)
3-cory cats
10- freshwater clams
9-mystery snails

My tank has been up for just over a year and have only lost one snail......

I guess theyl be fine.
I will probably put in all except the terror.
My Oscar Midas and parrot fish are still small.
Mi Midas is about 2 1/2 in.
My parrotfish is about 2 in.
And my Oscar is about four.
They will be living in my 10 gallon until Dec when I will get an 80
Then after a couple of months, I will add in a Jack dempsey as big as them. My Oscar, Parrot, and Midas arent fighting at all in my ten gal. Do you guyz think theyll last till Dec?????
And do you think the 80 gal will be overcrowded.

I wont add the Jack Demsey or the Terror.
But do you think the Parrot the Midas and the Oscar can live in it?
Do any of you think they will last until Dec. in my 10 gal???
If the Midas dies then I will replace it with a jack Demsey and if the Parrot dies then I will replace it with a convict.
If the Oscar dies I wont buy any more fish till I get an 80 gal.
Then I will buy another Oscar.
What do you guys think is the proper PH for a Midas, parrotfish and an Oscar.
I wasn t refusing to the overcrowding but zimmerlyct said they will be fine so I didnt know who was right

first off you have it backwards the higher the number the more alkaline the water not acidic ie 3.2is very acidic 8.2is very alkaline.
most s a cichlids like basic to soft acidic water ca cichlid like hard alakline water and rift lake cichlids like hard alkaline water

don't focus to much on ph , just focus on keeping the tank as clean as possible and keeping your ammonia and nitrite to 0, and you nitrates under 20 ppm, and avoid quick shifts of extremes in pH. Most fish like those kind, ... in your local area will be accustomed to you local water.

I'm not sure they would all survive in a 10 gal. until dec, maybe you could return some and wait till you get your 80 gal. Is it going to be a christmas prezzie? If so maybe you could ask for an advance on it for the sake of your fish's health.
Dont know about ph levels.
