I dont think that was long enough. I usually take about an hour acclimating my new SW inhabitants. You need to do it slowly. Adding only a little water at a time until your water over powers the other water they came in. I usually empty out as much of the stores water as possible and the then I add about triple of what I have left, but slowly. If you do it too fast they will die.
