well it is shading half the tank now and needs to come out. Thing is it is imbedded in a huge piece of live rock so I need to chop it up in the tank. I am hesitant as it will no doubt send out all kinds of chemical warfare once I start at it with the razor blade. Maybe I should hack it up in stages.......but I would rather just traumatize the tank once and get it over with. Maybe just chop it down and run oooodles of carbon for a week or so, and do a single really large water change afterwards....? any suggestions?
