What kind of food are you feeding? Have your fish began to regain some more color since the last post here? What I have found someone correct me if I'm wrong about this but foods with krill in them will help promote color in tropical fish I feed a variety of foods to my fish all with different ingredients and all my colorful fish are bright and full in color. Sometimes it can take weeks even months for these foods to have a real affect on the fishes colors. Maybe the lfs you buy from was feeding a "filler" food instead of something healthy hard to say tho.

I have flakes and that algae flake. I was feeding my fish with freeze-dried bloodworm.... though after some researching, apparently it can cause dropsy (?) so for now I'm just sticking with the regular fish flakes and algae flake. I'll look that up though! Thank you! :D

To be honest, I googled a bunch of stuff a few weeks ago, and if my memory serves me right, a lot of what I read are mostly correlation and a lot of it I ended up reading in forums rather than an actual evidence. I'm tried blanching lettuce for the first time last night. That was kind of fun :) and a bit of a hit with my otos and krib!
