A ph of 7.4, is that dangerous?

test the ph of your ro water. adjust this prior to topoffs & waterchanges...check after mixing your salt water too......check alk and ph. I even check the ca on my wc water.....

I checked with my Water bottle company what the pH of there RO water was and it was VERY low, like 6.7 or somthing like that. I have to buffer my salt mix each water change as the Salt mix alone will not get it up to were it needs to be. I also have to add small amounts to my fresh water top-off mid week to keep everything stable.

Yea, I think salt waters is right. I test my ro water and it is at maybe 7.0, below what my reader can read, very light yellow. These water are from water machine, where you bottle it yourself, I believe they are called crystal geyser, something like that. By using the buffer, right now, I'm at 8.0.
