Okay ready for a update?

My fish are looking so much better! The Severums ich is decreaseing every day and my Angels fins are back to normal. The Bettas are much happier as well. I have been doing 50% water changes every other day, and treating with aqua-sol. I am not done treaating them however. When should I stop treating with aqua-sol?? I thought after I treat I stop I would treat a little with Mel-a-fix just to make sure. And then I thought I should be putting a little salt in all my aquariums from now on.

Any thoughts?

Its important to keep treating for a while after all disease symptoms disapear. The ich on the fish are protected from the medication by the fish's slime coat. ich actualy lives underneath the smile coating as a type of cyst. when they drop off they are ready to burst out back into the water. Thus is why its important to keep up with the water changes for a while, and the medication, as well with some salts and stress coat to help the fish repair their slime coating. Ich is only vulnerable when free floating in the water. But always use your judgement, no one knows your tank better than you. I'd say keep up for 3-4 days with water changes and medication after the disease has disapeared.

Kick ass job so far mate!! :D
