Welcome to MFT.
Is this your only tank?
Many people opt to immediately remove the fry to a growout tank, but in my limited number of cichlid spawns (kribs, cons, now salvini) I have found it best to keep the fry in with the adults (the theory being that they will grow quicker this way) until they hit about the 1/2" to 3/4" mark (or until you see the parents preparing for spawning again---i.e. clearing out a spawning site, etc.).
At this point, I then remove the fry to a smaller growout tank. Obviously the fry are removed immediately if the parents start eating them (which they typically will do at some point).
In with the parents, feeding of the fry won't be as tricky, because the pair will chew up the larger food and spit out a whole bunch for the fry to eat. Still, I find it best to supplement with a powdered fry food (I use Hikari 'First Bites').
Just curious---how large are the acaras right now?
Hope this helps.
