i have mine in my room, this poll makes me think. I wonder if there is a review of "bedroom-friendly" aquarium products (ie quiet). I have two 10 gallons in my room. One at bed level, the other above. It's nice to be able to watch them.

I had my first tank in the bedroom. It had a UGF and the constant bubling drove me nuts so I moved it out to the livingroom only a month after I set up the tank. Now . . . after being out of the hobby for over 10 years my new 29 gal. tank is in the study. A bit distracting only becasue I always want to look over and see what the littl eguys are up too :)

All my tanks are in my bedroom, considering the fact that it is the only space in the house that is "mine." Four of them. The filters I have are pretty quiet, the only noise is if I forget to top off the tanks before I go to bed. There is a subliminal hum from some of the airstones, but I don't hear that anymore.

It's true, the ladies like watching fish<G>. My boyfriend also has his tank in his bedroom. I think he did this on purpose because, well, it's the first room of the house I always head to when I visit, to check up on his critters of course!

We have a 10g in the bedroom; we can watch it lying in bed. :)
It has a penguin filter on it, which I have discovered is only noisy if the water level is too low. Like this morning, when I was too lazy to get up and put some water in it.. (a temporary solution is blankets over your head)
