big al's bio-support?

I came across this stuff: Big Al's Multi-Purpose Bio-Support- 16 OZ. at Big Al's Online . Anyone ever use it and does it work?

Same formulation as AP Stress Zyme

If it's not refrigerated, live bacteria - it's a waste of money. (Shame on Big Als )

I would not buy it because live bacteria need to be kept cold to be effective. If you are looking for something to help your cycle or bio load, get something called stability. made by seachem. I use this when starting up my tank and it worked well. I haven't been using per w/c like it mentions but it did help in my opinion starting the tank from scratch

Unfortunatley I could never get bio-spira etc (or at least find it)... so I always used Fritz-Zyme and have never had a problem with it.. I've used it on 4 tanks now - although once I open the solution, I don't keep it...

I wouldn't bother with any of these products. Even though I have heard that Bio-Spira works as it says, I still feel it's not worth spending the money - not to mention you don't know if it has been properly stored all through shipping. And if you get a bum bottle there really is no way to prove it and get your money back.

A few weeks patience and some ammonia is all you really need.

Stress Zyme is another one like cycle that is sold on the shelf in all the pet stores and not refrigerated...so I dont know how it'd be helpful.

yeah I guess if its like stress-zyme, which doesnt work, it wont work either.

The only thing I liked about Stress-Zyme was that it smelled really good. Other than that, it didn't seem to help my fishless cycle out.
