I was looking up info about my eclipse in general and came accross a pamphlet about the biowheel. it said that it should rotate very slowely and be a dark brown. It said the filter is at its best when it is doing that.

i think i found a temporary solution, i took out the second filter cartridge, in there, and cleaned the bio-wheel bearings. I also took the impeller from the old penguin and put it on there. it's kinda loud but at least its not as loud as the other one and its consistant!

Is this possible?

im about 95% sure it fits because it just fits right in the hole. i put it in the hole first to see if it would fit, and it did, plus i compared it to the newer one and it was almost identical, except for the blade was yellow instead of blue.
I hope this works for awhile, but i will eventually by a replacement impeller
thanks so much!
