Bio-Wheel vs. Bio Balls?

I don't have a refugium, but I do see alot of things crawling around, I have seen the mandarin eat the frozen shrimp and blood worms I feed, so that should be a good sign.I have only had him about a week, so time will tell. I don't know what kind the brittle star is. He's green with some yellow rings around his arms. I sometimes don't see him for a couple weeks, but when I do, he always looks healthy. I've had him about a year.I like the sand star because he is always in front. I 'm sure he does some good for the sand bed by moving around and digging in a few different places each day. Hes been around almost a year as well. I may be greedy, but I would still like a couple more fish. I've been thinking about some wrasses. Scotts fairy,ruby head, something like that, but I'm afraid the flame angel will keep them in there place like he does the firefish. Anyone know about mixing wrasses and how agressive they are?
