yes, no problem. although the LFS here seems to have high prices since it doesnt get much competition. still a heck of a deal though. just out of curiosity, how big do crays get?

dbleoh is right, but I'll do my best to keep the price at $5.00 per cray. Only thing that might change---as I mentioned before---is the overall price depending upon shipping/materials costs. ;)

Bob...please don't send me a $20.00 bill through the mail, lol. I said that I'd arrange things with everyone serious about placing an order via PM upon my return, so please hold your horses.

Big Vine, was wondering what temp you keep your cray tank at. My Eclipse seems to settle at 78-80 without a heater. Will this be too warm for a cray? If so, any suggestions on how to keep the temp down on my tank? Even if I don't use the lighting, the temp is still around 79.

Not-so-good Update

Just got back from my trip and, sadly, the crays have been wreaking some havoc in their tank and have managed to destroy one of my angelfish. Also, two of the three remaining angels are torn-up pretty badly, and it's obvious that something needs to be done quickly before I end up losing all of them.

To further complicate matters, only 2 of the crays (both female) are large enough to ship, and it doesn't look as though the rest will be ready to go for at least another month or so.

Sorry to disappoint, folks, but I'm strongly leaning toward just selling them all to the LFS (which has offered $5.00 for each) to get them off my hands before they end up killing all of the angelfish.

IF you have already (via PM) specified your request for cray(s) AND still feel as though you must absolutely get your hands on one or more of the blues AND cannot obtain them in your area, please send me another PM to confirm and I will do my best to work with you on getting you what you have requested.

Otherwise, I would urge that you please try to obtain them locally. Up-front cost may seem higher that way, but in the end it is still likely to be cheaper than what I can offer (i.e. given the fact that I must obtain payment for shipping/shipping materials).

Sorry for the disappointment and confusion.

P.S. Laura...it is fine. My 3 gal. Eclipse has routinely sat at or slightly above 80 degrees F, and little 'Jerry' has been doing just fine.

Sorry to hear about your fish, Big Vine. Hope you're able to salvage the rest. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to getting one of your cray, but I understand. ;) Good luck!
