Oh yeah,
They can be somewhat territorial against their own kind, so I would suggest that if you ever got another one later on, to add some caves and such for them so that they both will have plenty of areas to choose from. Get some sinking pellets for those guys too, and they also like dried algae.

I have heard they get up to 12 inches in a tank if its a Blue Knight (Cherax)
and upt to 5 inches if it is a Hammers Cobalt Blue (Procambarus).
Actually technically there is not a Blue Knight Cherax that is a name that a aquarium store came up with. They are called Redclaw or Cherax Quads(scientific name) and I have the Walkamin Strain hybrid that was mated at walkamin station in Queensland Au to grow up to 50% bigger, 50% faster and some of my walkamin Redclaw are at 15 inches each and over a pound in weight, and I also have some that I have had for almost 6 years.

Let me also correct myself somewhat. There are several forms of Cherax that have yet to be given a scientific name and that are listed as Cherax sp. and a color
denotation to adentify them
This page has those listings.
But I have personally never heard or seen of them being called Blue Knight
