Is the ram still eating good? I just discovered my rams love spirulina. They wents nuts last night when I fed it to them. Also try daphnia, that always get my neons riled up as well as the rams.

Only eats bloodworms, and is still really thin. Its very hard to feed because the guppies eat all the worms, so I've been pushing the worms down in front of the ram with a stick and swatting the guppies away. I can't belive how hard it is to give food to this fish. I'll try some other tyes of frozen food. The only non-frozen food it showed any intereest in were sinking cichlid pellets, but only rarely, and they were too big! (small-size) I crushed them up, but then they were totally ignored.

Whenever a fish died, I was out of town for a few days, so the only symptom I saw was the female ram's food problems.

If I put in another (healthy) female, what are the odds that they will pair up?
