Maybe i have a solution..i bought a 1 $ 6" tupperware, and i'm using silicone to glue to the top of the cup :

nope..i put back the placebo-seaclone just for fun now, but the Coralife will be ready tomorrow i think. I took the shot just after i used silicone.
I didn't want to cut the original cup and void the warranty or just the value if i sell it one day.

not cutting the cup was a very smart move, I didnt even think of that

I would still be really nervous about this, maybe a sump upgrade is in order, anything that can drain your tank in a matter of minutes is pretty scary to me.

well yeah that would be the best solution..but the sump is a 10g pierced filled with plants + rocks , placed higher than the tank so no overflow. Can't put much bigger sump there. There is still place under my tank, but i don't have a real good overflow..my customs were not really reliable and i can't buy one under 200 CDN $ . Tried on ebay but refused 'cause i live in quebec altough it mentionned worldwide shipping.
My next tank will be PIERCED.

Well it works ! I opened the valve full blast and the tupperware can handle the super flow without a leak and drain the overload to the tank..now i can rest a little

tnx yep..i added the plate of the seaclone on the internal cylinder of the CSS..it fits and helps to direct the foarm into the cup rather than having a foam column.
Mhh..i wonder if what i wrote makes sense..my english can suck big time.

all right i got 4" of dark and ( soooooo )smelly skimmate in the huge cup...or like half a beer pitcher of this gunk in 1 week. Huge. This skimmer is worth the $. He done what my seacrap had done over a year...in just a week.
