What do your "wild" colored shrimp look like?

A mottled brown/tan color. Good camouflage

I think I may have a berried shrimp but it's really hard to tell. I don't see the eggs as clearly as in your picture though...

I have 3 berried shrimp. 2 of them are doing something odd I just noticed... I'm uploading a video to youtube and I will edit this post with the link.

They are cleaning the eggs to prevent fungus from forming . . . . much the way some egglaying fish will aerate and mouth-pick their eggs . . . .

Ok, now that my cherry shrimp are breeding like rabbits, now what do I do with them all? I moved 30+ (stopped counting at 30) to two different tanks of fish, and their dedicated tank looks like I didn't make a dent in it!

Check how well they'll sell. If they breed that crazy you may end up rich!

I put a bunch in one tank with about a dozen Badis badis and a dwarf freshwater puffer, kinda hoping the smaller ones will be umm...well...you know....

They are bold as brass, walking around in plain sight of the fish! The puffer seems most interested, but so far, just seems to watch them.

Well, OC, I was going to suggest you smuggle some across the border for me, but guess what I found? I unplugged my HOB filter tonight to give it a bit of a scrub, and I see this little flash of orange as I dumped the water into a bowl (thank goodness I didn't go straight to the sink!). It was my "missing" shrimp - I had figured maybe a frog munched it, but no, it was just hanging out in the filter! It's much smaller than the others, but otherwise looks great.

I just noticed some baby shrimp in my tank!! I saw two eating algae out in the open but I couldn't find any more. I hope they survive. All I gotta say is ABOUT TIME!
