Cichlid Set Up

Had to make the accessibility harder for the 2yr/old.

I've exhausted all options. Now the 4 yr old uses the 2 yr old as a stepping stool.

when i was little i'd play "go fishing for goldfish" lol. be careful. they can make toy fishing rods, tie food on a string and will try to fish the fish out. would be even worse if they use real hooks. I know i am guilty of that once. i felt really bad for the goldfish afterward. still it did not die from hook injury from what i can remember.

I use an ice fishing rod with bait and hook to catch my green sunfish. he would destroy my net and a bigger net would be to big for my tank lol. I caught him with a hook to begin with and green sunfish are very VERY tough fish.

if i had a large pond, i'd stock it with largemouths and fish there all day

I know a large pond stocked with goldfish that i catch for flathead bait. lol
