Yesterday I saw clown loaches at LFS, they are so great!
I have read that they can live for more than 30 years and grow very big.
I was wandering how big they can actually grow and how fast (how is about yours). oh, and how big should be a tank for them.
I'd say average is about 6 - 8 inches long in an aquarium setting...but they can get up to a foot long. In the wild they've been known to get up to around 2 feet long. Minimum size tank for a school of small clown loaches would be a 55 gallon tank...but he'd probably need to upgrade to a 75 when and if he gets bigger.
