Bingo! hey, contact me as soon as you can.. I may be interested.  Is it still in ok condition? Did you ever use it in saltwater?

Rob, it's brand new.  I bought two of these and needed only one.  It's still in the box.

Sweet, I did some research on it and I don't think it would heat my 150 gallon sufficiently as to where I could use it.  However, if it is still in it's box have you considered trying to get a refund (or trying to sell it to an LFS?)

You usually need two 250 or 200 watters to heat the tank.  Rather buy two separate heaters just in case one fails during the winter.  I needed only one for now because it's not too cold in CA and my return pump draws a lot of heat.
I bought the heaters from www.reefland.com when they had their store but it's now defunct. :)
BTW, I have a 120 gallon.

I live in California and I bough two of these.  It is quite warm here also so I only needed one.  I run it about 2-3 months out of the year when it does get cold, especially at night if it rains also.

I am not sure what the lowest temp it gets in Florida also but one of these would be fine for your tank.  I only have one of these on my 120 gallon.

Looks like $5 to ship though.

I also have a 150 gallon (FW) tank and
live in Florida.... no heater in tank....
usually the PC lights keep the tank at
80F.......  Same with my 55 gallon.
Now I do have heaters in my 10g breeder
tanks..... I like to keep the AC down to
74 when I sleep....
