my vote will have to go to the syno multipunctatus.they never stop playing, all day long it never stops.tough catfish to photo they dont stop moving.i got these two pics this morning when the light first came on.

I don't think I've seen a catfish I didn't like but I'm partial to my Raphael.

brochis have been high on my list lately
almost any syno is a good pick,except for maybe the lace syno,nice but too common.but dwarf petricolas and pyjama synos are at the top of my list.brichardis are cool too,with their long snakelike body.
steve,i like the way your multi looks so at home in a tank with plants,just looks like it was always there.

i like 'em all. especially the big guys and plecs. but my favorite is tiger shovel noses, those things are awesome. catfish IMO are the greatest fish.

the only catfish ive had was a pictus, but i liked him. he was very active, and kept my bottom really clean hehe.

I'm gonna go with multi also. I have one in an 82G with a 9" common pleco and 8 clown loaches. He is not as active as I thought he'd be. Is this because of the other bottom feeders or because he is alone. Do you think another multi in the tank would make him come out and play more?

bevans i have 2 and its tag all day.if you do get another multi make a cave for each one as a retreat.ashleigh i had a raphael for years cool looking fish when you could find him.i also have a microglanis poecilus same thing you never see him.

Its gotta be the pictus for me, I love those fish Raphaels are also a very attractive fish.

My favorite has to be baked catfish with lemon and herbs. I'm not to partial to blakened or seared catfish, although deep-fried is pretty good with lots of mayo. The best catfish has to go to the stuffed catfish though, all that cheese....*drool*

idk, whats so great about them, there just the only catfish ive had besides cories, so thats what i put. watching him swim would always make me faze out hehe.

pictus cats are active and fun to watch. and, they have a nice color pattern and look cool.

my favorites would be the pictus catfish and also the tiger shovelnose catfish. unfortunatle they both died. my 9 inch oscar bit my pictus catfish on the tail and died a day later and my shovelnose died after a water change. they are both beautiful fish though
