Stringy poo is a sign of internal parasites or other internal problem. Its not good and can happen to any fish.

Glass can be pretty strong. I don't know exact numbers of how much the single bottom sheet of glass can take, but it is dependent on several things like the distribution of the weight along the bottom of the tank, the strength of the silicone seals, ect...

Sick Molly?!

sorry that was really off topic... I didnt know there was a second page and I was responding to the comments on the first one... actually, the molly is pregnant, and the male is fine. How will this effect things? :(

also i read that they actually are salt water fish and should be kept in a salt water tank all by themselves... I will create a new thread to discuss this further I think...

Good luck with the cichlids!! They are so pretty! Sry that the small one died.. :(

Ok heres an update: I replaced the small Kenyi with a Red Zebra who took to the tank very well. Unlike the others he acted like he’s been in the tank for years. The other Kenyi was not looking so good, he’s been breathing hard, and hasn’t eaten anything since I got him. When I went to feed them this morning he was gone. I will probably replace him with another Red Zebra. After that I will be done getting fish from PS.

The 4 Yellow Labs and the Red Zebra are doing great. Watching them eat almost makes me scared to put my fingers in the tank.

etres: If you put down that florescent lighting grid called “egg crate” it will disperse the weight of the rocks.

Thanks again for the kind words everyone.
