Heh, I'd like to see that matchup. Unless outnumbered, the Jag can hold his/her own. I did get the pair I mentioned earlier, and the little 5" female was putting my 12" Midas in the corner. Of course, I don't condone fish fighting. I placed a nice, secure divider in my tank.

Jags probably rank in the top 5 predatory fish food chain, maybe #2 behind the wolf cichlid. Extremely smart! Usually quite calm unless something (including fingers) gets in their territory.

Jenn, I find it strange you of all people, would want to get rid of your Jag.

aww, I saw some of these at Petsmart today. Cute little fella's when they are about 1.5 inches.

And yes to be honest, it did cross my mind to get some.

They do like to dig...and dig and dig. Mine have successfully created a 32" crater in my 100g tank. I have a feeling they won't be content until they suck up and spit out every single piece of gravel in the tank. So much for plants...
