It was my first auction. I could not believe the fish!! There were over 800 bags of fish and plants. A good bit of the fish were show quality. There was one discus from Discus-Hans that you would have thought was plated in gold the way the bids went. I had to leave at 2 to get to me daughters birthday party. I think it lasted till 6. Swordtails, Mollies, and Platties were going for over $1 a fish. I was really suprised by that. The plants went for much higher than expected also.

I wanted more but I had to go. The beautiful discus went for $35-50 each. I really wanted them, but I wanted to make sure I could handle discus before I got the really nice ones. The good news is that they ate soon after being released in the tank. They come right up to me when I come in the room. Their breeders must have taken really good care of them.
The GBR's are a little skiddish, but they did eat last night. They are in a 35g all by them selves. I need to get some more plants in there, but they have a cave and some shelter I made out of slate.
The guppies, well, they are guppies, so they are fine and prego, LOL!!
