Yup.

They offered to refund the rocks if I bring them back. It defiantly sucks though cause the looked great in my tank. They had no warnings and from what I got was that this was not an isolated incident.

The one good thing that came out of this was that my dad had purchased the rocks and when I return them I should have a little over $20 I think in store credit which means after cycle I have money for new Fish :D

So how soon after doing the water change should I notice a drop in GH. Like I did a change last night and tested this morning and if anything it seems a point hire then the day before :S. Is there like a settling period.

With most test kits there comes a level at which they're inaccurate. It may be that your GH got so high that the kit isn't properly registering it any more. The change in GH should be almost immediate after the water change (once the new water has mixed in).
