I am originally from SD also...WW, I know where the place on convoy is you speak of...where is fountains? There is also a store on Sports Arena Blvd...can't remember exactly where but it is west of Rosecrans on the south side...I will try to get the name for you from my bro

hey kevin, fountains is off of highway 8, kinda close to sdsu. you get off on 70th, turn left on university and it'll be on your right.

Sports arena blvs is the other way on the 8...follow it west till almost the end (Rosecrans exit), exit south and its a right turn...to be honest, i haven't been in the place for a while so im not sure what it is like any more...will try to let you know if i get over there this weekend while i am visiting

Riccia Aquabid

Thanks Fishboy,
That is the my Riccia auction on Aquabid.
This stuff is worth every penny. I got my first batch on Aprill of 2002 on Aquabid. I spend $15 on a small sandwich bag of dumb cuttings.
Now 9 months later I harvest over 600 sq inches 2" thick of that stuff in my 75 gal w/ co2 and natural sunlight. The profit from the Aquabid sale covered my water and light bill.

no wonder i didnt see any of those ricca plants around here. i bet i can find one store that has them.
dattack wouldnt it be considered smuggling if you got something illigaly into southern cali? and by the way great bruce lee animated picture.

nope still haven't gotten hold of any riccia yet. a little disappointed. i will give aquabid a shot..but not right now...since i haven't seen any riccia going for under $10 including s&h ...which is also why i wanna find a fish place that might sell it. i don't care if it is a rip off for like $9 for just a little golf ball sized cup...since i can grow it myself...just gotta get it first.

i am seriously considering glossostigma since it seems they're more readily avaliable. but i still want to see if i can get a hold of any riccia.

i'll let you know if i ever do get any riccia. til then...if anybody got some to share...hook me up ;o)

just reserecting an old thread. I am in irvine CA and am propigating some riccia very successfully. I swear that my stock has increased by atleast 50% since sunday!
