Thanks, TC, I will branch out my search and try some private stores. I have a peacock fern that was lacy and is now pretty much demolished and another fern with wirey black roots that actually looks more like Boston fern, but I think it was just labeled "Aquatic Fern" It looks fine, has only been in there about a month, but that black stiff root system it has is very unwieldly and easily becomes uprooted.
