That light looks too much like the JBJ Formosa DX I just bought. I got the legs too, but made some mods so I could still slip on the hood. w/o it, and it sitting perched up on the tank like that, I lit up the entire room, and half of the neighborhood.

btw, what color temp are those bulbs?

The legs slide on and off, so it could be used sitting flat on the glass as well. The reflector does project most of the light into the tank, but yes there is some light shed on the room as well. The bulbs are 2 actinic blue and 2 12,000k daylights.
