Green Severums and plants

I want a pair of green severums in my 50 gal tank, however I am afraid that they will eat or dig up my real plants. Does any one know this to be true or false?

Hey,
I had a pair of green severums a few years ago, they dug up everything. I did'nt have any real plants in with them just plastics and they would tear them up on a daily basis. I cant say for sure if they would kill your plants or not, but they would surely rearange my tank everyday. Maybe some who has kept them with real plants could share some more light on the subject...Good Luck!

yes they will eat your plants, they love them. the only types of plant that i know can be kept with them are anubius and some differnt types of swords.
