Not really. It al ldepends on what type of fish you are going to get. There are some fish that need a fine substrate cuase they burrow. In most cases the revular gravel would work fine. Adding Big rocks Helps with the Decor. I need to start looking for some for my 75G tank.

If you're planning on loaches or other bottom dwellers, you should make sure the stones/gravel aren't sharp. Smooth is much better for any kind of fish that lives on the bottom.
